Woodbridge Manor (Phase I) was developed in 1981 as the first 100% affordable multi‐family rental units in the City of Irvine for Seniors. Since then, Innovative Housing Opportunities (IHO) developed two other phases to the Woodbridge Campus to increase the supply of much needed affordable rental units in the community. The initial 150 unit development underwent substantial rehabilitation to incorporate improved accessibility, health and safety upgrades to individual apartments, community rooms and kitchens, and energy efficiency upgrades. In addition to the rehabilitation, 15 newly constructed units were added to the campus with a community room, HUD Neighborhood Networks® computer room, and an outdoor patio. IHO is also responsible for incorporating onsite social services to its aging residents.
